Rational Minded Ignorance
By Greg Vanden Berge
Product Description
Have you ever took the time to think about why people believe in some of the
statements made by others or even took the time to question your own
beliefs?
How many of us watch fantasy shows to escape reality or listen to the
news and believe everything they say?
It's hard to imagine, but people really do believe practically
everything they hear and it's got to stop. We've got to start asking the
right questions and demanding that they’re answered.
Statements like, Read my lips, no new taxes, I did not have sexual
relations with that woman or I am not a crook can no longer be
tolerated, but they are.
I can't tell you how many times I've watched the stock market rise or
fall, simply because someone fell off of their bicycle, in Antarctica.
Of course I'm kidding, but I'm not really that far from the truth, am I.
What about religious leaders who claim to have the answers, but cannot
validate their own religious beliefs. If God exists, then we should
bring him out of the closet and share him with everyone.
What about Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy or Angels,
Demons and Gods. I'm not even going to mention Satan, evil or exorcisms,
but I just did, didn't I.
We really do need to put an end to rationally minded ignorance, so even
if you don't read this book, at least think about the next thing you
hear, that can rationally be doubted and make a conscious choice, not to
believe it, until it has actually been validated.
