How To Argue With An Atheist And Win
By Greg Vanden Berge
Product Description
If you visit one of my Youtube channels, you will eventually come across
a comment made by someone that just didn’t make any sense. At least it
won't make any sense, to a rational individual.
The first thing you need to understand about an atheist is that most of
them aren't interested, in your beliefs. They're looking for facts that
are going to be supported by satisfactory scientific evidence that
cannot rationally be doubted.
If you want to argue with an atheist and win, you're going to need facts
or don't even bother. Some of these individuals are scientists,
researchers and their educated, some of them are actually intelligent.
When they ask you a question like, was Jesus God or just a highly
spiritual man?
And you reply with something like this:
1. Yes, Jesus is God. (Without any additional information that logically
makes sense, they will tear you apart)
2. Of course Jesus is God, everyone knows that. (Not going to cut it)
3. I just talked to him the other day. (Without any photographs, video
or rational satisfactory evidence, you can forget about it)
Atheists aren't as gullible as religious followers and won't be as easy
to convince, that your particular God is running the greatest show on
Earth. They're not going to lay down and accept your cousin Earl’s
interpretation of religion, just because he said that Jesus visited him
one day, in his barn.
They're not interested in hearsay or a book that was supposedly written
or inspired by, the creator of the entire universe, just because someone
said so or because a group of people believe that this actually
happened.
They also won't be donating any of their hard earned dollars, to an
organization, who preaches about love and compassion, but doesn't seem
to produce excellent examples, of this behavior.
I have been arguing with Atheists, Christians and other religious
followers for decades and have came to the conclusion that a book must
be written about the topic. People who study spiritual enlightenment,
laws of attraction, self-help and even get rich philosophies, could
learn a lot from this book.
Christians usually view atheists as evil, opposers of God who are
working with Satan. They seem to take the stand that you are either with
us or you're against us, when it really doesn't have to be that way.
Simply because they do not view your particular God as the supreme ruler
and creator of the universe, doesn't make them wrong.
I would also like to point out that it doesn't make them right either,
but when are people going to realize that we can no longer believe in
things, that cannot be validated.
If God doesn't exist, then prove it.
If God does exist, then prove that.
If you don't know whether God does exist or does not exist, then you
have no right to make these claims. However, if you do, then produce the
evidence and make sure that this evidence cannot rationally be doubted,
otherwise you're only going to be wasting everyone's time.
Whenever a Christian makes a statement that God exists without providing
any satisfactory scientific evidence, then they really haven't said
anything.
Whenever an atheist makes a statement that God does not exist, without
providing any satisfactory scientific evidence, then they are also
making a statement that really isn't providing us with any valuable
information.
I've been arguing both sides, for years, with limited results. Whenever
an atheist tells me that God does not exist and I ask for proof, they
usually get mad.
Whenever I tell a Christian or other religious followers to provide me
with realistic evidence about God's existence, I usually get the same
reaction.
When arguing with an atheist, you will need to actually think about the
comments you’re making. If necessary, you will need to stop arguing and
ask for more time, to validate or clarify information that you're
receiving.
If you're a hard headed religious follower and you're only looking for
tools to humiliate your opponent, then you should find another book. If
you're a Christian who knows for a fact that God, Satan, good and evil
exists in our world today and you're not willing to open your mind, then
you should also look for another book.
This book will not sugarcoat the reality or any illusions about religion
or atheism.
If you're going to argue with anybody, about anything, then you should
have some knowledge about the subject, before engaging your opponent.
You're not going to be able to quote from the Bible, unless you have
evidence supporting every single quote you're planning on using.
I'm going to say this again, because it's important.
Atheists are usually going to need facts based upon scientific
satisfactory rational evidence and will not accept beliefs based upon
faith.
Like I said earlier, if you're interested in arguing with an atheist and
you don't have any facts, then don't even bother.
One more thing, don't use statements like, you just have to believe,
because a belief is always going to be a belief, until it has been
validated.
I do wish you guys the best of luck, on your journey towards the truth
and convincing atheists that they're wrong and you're right.
