Who Judges People?
Hebrews 10:30 (American Standard
Version) For we know him that said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will
recompense. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
John 5:22 (American Standard Version) For neither doth the Father judge
any man, but he hath given all judgment unto the Son;
John 8:15 (American Standard Version) Ye judge after the flesh; I judge
no man.
Who Judges People?
According to John 8:15 Jesus states that he doesn't judge man, but that's not the case in John 5:22. It sounds like Jehovah, the God of the Old Testament who at this time must be separate from Jesus, is giving him the power of judgment.Think about this for a moment, Jesus says that the father doesn't judge any man, but gives all judgment to his son. If they were the same entity, as suggested in the Holy Trinity, why would they be mentioned separately?
To answer this question honestly, you need to read one of these Bible verses and then avoid looking other Bible verses that would be contradicting. I know this isn't fair, but if you read the entire Bible, you're going to find plenty of statements that create confusion.
